Bayless Totally Over the Line

Journalist Skip Bayless has totally overstepped his boundaries by insinuating that Derek Jeter may be using some type of performance enhancing drugs in light of his fantastic season.

On First Take, Stephen A. Smith defended the Yankees Captain by stating that Jeter was a model of consistency along with being a 5-time champion. Also, that his game was not predicated on the long ball.

Smith goes on to say that, "you are speaking about an institution, about someone with the most impeccable reputation arguably in the history of the game of baseball."

"Jeter is not just one of the all-time greats as a player, he is one of the all-time great statesman, and ambassadors in the history of professional sports."
